While I initially discovered my love for running as a sprinter during my high school years, it wasn’t until many decades later that I reignited my passion and began running consistently again. Since then, I’ve embraced the world of endurance running, completing numerous marathons and half marathons and achieving commendable results within my age group.
As the host of the popular “Rookie Runners” podcast, I engage with fellow runners, delving into their unique running journeys. Through these conversations, I aim to convey a powerful message: that we all have the potential to create the best version of ourselves by incorporating running, goal setting, and consistent effort into our lives. I also hold the esteemed position of Masters Division Captain for the renowned UNFRGVN Marathon team. In this role, I lead and support a group of dedicated runners, fostering camaraderie and teamwork while pushing the limits of their endurance. I believe that as we uplift others, we are lifted as well.
Moreover, I am a certified coach with the USATF (USA Track & Field) specializing in endurance running. My ultimate objective is to inspire and motivate runners from all walks of life, encouraging them to embrace the transformative power of running and physical fitness.
